Daryl Edwards, who operated Sea Spray Charters on the MV Galileo in Wellington sadly passed away today.
We had yet to get to know Daryl personally, but his partner works with mine, and we had only this weekend talked about getting his charter business on the site.
From what I have been told, Daryl was someone who loved life, loved his kids, and his partner.
This is a sad day for Wellington, and it certainly puts life into perspective.

I had only had the pleasure of meeting Daryl very recently and am both shocked and touched deeply by his sudden passing. My deepest condolences to his family at this darkest time.

Our heartfelt thoughts go out to Daryl’s family – he was a special man who’s actions always spoke louder than words. We shall remember him for his aroha and tautoko offered up without a second thought.
